Web Developer at Polymax’s Consulting Division independently develop client oriented web applications on the basis of open source technology. This happens in collaboration with the sales team, which provides the functional specifications for the web applications. To fulfill this function you have to be able to conduct the following tasks:
Web application development:
Communicate with internal stakeholders on their requirements for the application
Completing the functional documentation and design for the application
Completing the technical documentation for the application
Programming the application
Delegating work to junior programmers
Coordinating and communicating the development with your European colleagues (in English)

Proficient in programming in HTML, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Ajax
Experienced working with open source content management systems (e.g. Typo3)
Preferably (not required) experienced with the ZEND framework
An effective and efficient communicator
Proficient in English and Chinese, speaking and writing (i.e. TEM 8 or equivalent)
A goal oriented worker
Resistant to stress and willing to go the extra mile
A university graduate, with a Bachelor degree in Informatics or Engineering
Relevant work experience as web developer (2-5 years)
Proficient in working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
